Our bespoke handmade kitchens are specially designed, to painstakingly high standards, to give you a kitchen that is beautiful to look at, whilst the same time practical and easy to use.
Here at Ruach in Kent, we are committed to making sure our design surpasses your expectations and is the perfect addition to your home. So, whether you are looking for a traditional or a contemporary look and feel, our handmade kitchens will not disappoint.
From the initial meeting, through to installation, the Ruach team will work with you to deliver the handmade kitchen of your dreams, making sure it incorporates all the special elements you want, along with a few that you hadn’t thought of. And, once the installation is complete, we are just a phone call away, should you have any queries.
From larder units, wine racks and coffee machines, to built-in cheese and breadboards, we will create a design that is not just stylish but also includes all those little extras that turn a good kitchen into a perfect kitchen.
Today’s kitchen is the heart of the modern home and needs to function in multiple ways. It’s the meeting place, as well as the eating-place; it’s where the children do their homework, play games and watch TV; and it’s where you want to entertain or relax after a long day.
For many people, space to eat in the kitchen is essential. And, with our bespoke handmade kitchens, we can incorporate seating into most spaces, creating the perfect area, whether it’s for family living, entertaining or supper for two.
Having a bespoke handmade kitchen means you can stamp your own personality on, arguably, the most important room in your home.
Ruach Handcrafted Kitchens leads the way in offering a wide range of choice to meet every lifestyle need and to suit every style of home. Solid oak; black walnut; walnut veneer; or cherry, in plain or warm Shaker-style, with various levels of ‘distress’, combined with beautifully made dovetail drawers with soft close system; and the choice of bi-fold doors and much more – we are confident we can find something to inspire you.
You could decide to choose a combination of wood and painted doors, which are available in a rainbow of Farrow & Ball colours, ensuring you will always find the perfect shade. And the handmade kitchen units don’t have to be painted in just one colour – complimentary colours can create a modern and unique finish. But, if choosing the right wood or the right colour is a daunting thought, our experienced team is here to give you advice on what would work well in your particular kitchen.
Sourced from the heart of Northern Ireland, our handmade kitchens are exquisite and beautifully produced to the highest standard, reflecting the artistry and care of the craftsman. Our ‘in-frame’* and ‘lay-on’* doors have been refined over a number of years and successfully combine the latest technology with individual craftsmanship, ensuring they stand the test of time. The in-frame style will evoke memories of a traditional Edwardian kitchen, in the style of Downton Abbey; whereas lay-on doors give a streamlined look and are a more affordable way of achieving a bespoke kitchen.
A well-designed kitchen is about ‘flow’. Everything needs to be in the right place, so you can move easily from the appliances, to the cupboards, to the drawers, to the sink, to the eating area. We know that what works well in one kitchen, isn’t necessarily the best option for you. So, our designers will visit your home, talk about what it is you want to achieve, learn more about your lifestyle and then create an initial concept design. From here, we will refine the design with you, ensuring it incorporates all your requirements such as maximum storage, preparation and serving areas.
With the trend for open-plan living showing no signs of slowing down, we take into account priorities such as making sure children are out of harm’s way in a functioning kitchen and making the best use of natural light.
Each of our bespoke handmade kitchens is different; designed and built to suit the particular needs of our wide range of clients. So, whether your kitchen is large or small; whether you want it to make a bold statement, or have a more traditional, homely feel, we can help and inspire you to bring your dream to life.
Ruach Kitchens is committed to delivering the kitchen of your dreams, on time and within budget. And, if your new kitchen is part of a bigger project such as a house renovation, an extension build or room remodelling, we will work with your architect and builder, to ensure that everything comes together at the right time.
